1984年，徕卡特别推出了一批R4金色特别版。机身镀上24K金，并覆以棕色的蛇皮。此机之特别号码为E022。套机连同金色的Summilux-R 1.4/50mm镜头(#3295529)，并配有包装证书、木盒、相机带及镜头前盖，成色如新。
