This is Leitz Telyt (M) 1:8/400 mm prototype lens Nr. 0.000.688. Rare and fully original experimental lens for use on Visoflex II, prepared for testing at the 1964 Tokyo Olympic Games. Clean glasses. Total production of the Telyt 8/400 lenses was less than 30. The project led into the later 6.8/400 version for serial production. The lens has been authenticated by Lars Netopil (Wetzlar). It comes with both lens caps.
