Liu An was a tribute tea during the Qing Dynasty, and has maintained its popularity as "An Tea" through the Republican era. Known for its medicinal properties, it is revered as "holy tea", and was a more premier tea than Pu-er. This lot comes in its original bamboo basket and wrapped in palm leaves. It bears the signature of Wang Lichun and is labeled as "Processed with the finest tender buds sourced exclusively from Liu An". This tea has withstood the test of time for a century and is well-preserved, it is considered a highly precious collectible.
