This lot has been preserved in absolutely dry storage and remains in excellent condition. Using traditional pressing methods, the cake is thick and compact with a glossy surface, carrying distinct notes of orchid and camphor. Red Mark is the most prestigious among Yin Grade Puer. This no-wrapper version originated when Hong Kong teahouses removed the original packaging to simplify storage and sales. With most consumed over the decades, few examples remain today, making this an exceptionally rare and highly prized tea.
