Category: Raw Pu-er Tea

This lot was produced for the Tibetan market, made from wild large-leaf Yunnan tea and wrapped in glutinous bamboo leaves into a long strip for transport. Pu-er tea expert Mr. Deng Shihai noted its remarkable medicinal properties and historical significance, describing it as "a once-in-a-lifetime Pu-er tea, rare and beyond pursuit." Since 1967, the traditional mushroom-shaped Jin Cha has been replaced by rectangular brick tea. This example retains its original packaging and has been well preserved in traditional Hong Kong storage, making it exceptionally rare due to discontinued production and limited surviving stock.
