Here is an original Leica Model A with lens Elmax 3.5/50mm. The Elmax was the second version of lens built into the 1A, after the Anastigmat and before the Elmar. Camera with Elmax occurs between serial numbers 280 to 1280 approximately. This camera has been upgraded by Leica factory from 1930 to 1934, and lens is interchangeable now. This camera shows original features of the second version Elmax camera, such as frame counter up to 35, 7 speed dial, all black A/R lever and flat eyepiece. The camera comes with matching front lens cap, rangefinder and leather case.
