In 1996, in order to commemorate the 100th years of Schmidt group establishing as well as creating their first presence in Asia Pacific Region, 188 units of Leica M6 special edition were launched. The camera uses the M6 body with platinum plating and the word “Limited Edition of 188 pcs for Schmidt Group” was engraved at the back, also the logo of Schmidt Group was engraved on top. It fits with an Elmar-M 2.8/50mm lens (#3741328), with special number SC-028/188. It completes with both lens caps, body cap, strap, cleansing cloth, packing and papers.
