Even though the model “M8” engraved on the front of this camera, it is actually a M9 prototype with M9 features, very rare. Besides the special prototype serial number, this camera comes with neither a Leica logo on the camera front, nor the film counter on the top plate. As for the software, the camera has been upgraded to 1800 mega pixels, also full frame like M9. This camera comes with M9 packing, instruction manual, body cap, battery cord, battery, charger and strap.
