Tong Xing Hao was established in 1732 and was one of the earliest tea houses in Yiwu. The tea cakes are made using tender tea buds of top-tier quality from a region that annually produces 100 loads of tribute tea. Mansong tea is renowned for its smooth and balanced taste with no bitterness and a refreshing yet lingering aroma, making it one of the finest teas among Pu-er teas. This lot belongs to the early period and comes with an inner ticket featuring slightly blurry red characters due to the passage of time. After being well-preserved in dry storage for over a century, the tea has developed an excellent aroma and flavor.
