This lot has been preserved under natural storage, with a Purple Mark inner ticket embedded within one of the cakes. Both are well kept, with only one showing slight traces of moisture. The cakes are thick and compact, with glossy chestnut surfaces and golden buds. Established in the Menghai region during the 1930s and 1940s, Ding Xing Hao was renowned for producing premium Pu-er tea. Its round cakes were celebrated for their exceptional thickness and refined quality. While Red and Blue Mark versions are more commonly seen, the Purple Mark is far rarer.
