This lot has been well-preserved in dry storage and in excellent condition. Originally commissioned by Hong Kong's Nam Tien Trading Company and produced by the Menghai Tea Factory, it is regarded as a benchmark of its era. The blend uses grade 5 to 8 coarse leaves, with primarily grades 7 and 8. Decades of transformation have enriched its layers of flavor, delivering lasting sweetness and complexity that have made the 8582 one of the most celebrated teas in Pu-er history.
