This exceedingly rare tea dates before the period when Gan Li Zhen and Song Pin Hao merged into a joint production. The inner ticket is hand-stamped in red using a wooden seal, with bold and vigorous calligraphy characteristic of Qing-era craftsmanship. The stack ticket is printed with fruit-based pigment rather than ordinary ink, featuring a Ping An Ru Yi ("Peace and Prosperity") motif with the characters Gan Li Zhen inscribed within. This lot closely resembles Lot 129 from our 17th Auction, A Stack of Extremely Rare and Fine Vintage Song Pin Hao Pu-er Tea Cake, Before 1917, and may serve as a valuable reference. The cake has been preserved for over a century in dry storage and remains in exceptional condition. Its round, loosely compressed form incorporates tea stems that enhance aging potential, with robust, gold-tipped leaves and a lustrous reddish-golden hue. This is an extraordinarily rare antique Pu-er, celebrated for its provenance and remarkable state of preservation.
