The cake remains intact and well preserved in natural storage. Its surface displays a chestnut-red hue with a glossy sheen, featuring full strips with visible white and golden buds, and an inner ticket embedded within. Crafted from wild-grown old arbor large-leaf tea of Mengla origin, it was compressed using traditional moulding techniques. Aged under ideal conditions, it has developed a rich, full-bodied liquor with orchid and camphor notes, and a lingering, refined sweetness.
